BOTANIA - the largest environmental education center in the Baltics, dedicated to the plant kingdom, available to visitors in the National Botanical Garden in Salaspils. BOTANIA is a 1,460 m2 two-story space where more than 100 stories in stands, showcases and digital games reflect events in the land of plants. The exposition includes 6 themes: roots, trunks, leaves, flowers, seeds and fruits. BOTANIA is a place to spark interest in plants through your own choice of experiences: reading texts and listening to tales, tactile exhibits and interactive stands, leaf catching games and flower symmetry mirrors, digital games and virtual reality experiences, smells and sounds, wind breezes and sensations of different grains, even writing a message in an encrypted language of flowers and sending it to your friends.
